Cossam  has evolved over the years 1997-2022 and can be traced back to an Ada83 code written by
G. Könighofer and M.J. Stift. The Atlas12 continuous opacity routines have been translated to Ada by K.M. Bischof.

The present version cossam_slc, dated 2022-08-25, is an updated legacy version of cossam
It handles solar and stellar spectra with observer-centred or co-rotating spatial grids.
